Soho loft re-lists for $11.6M — 50% off its original asking price

A Soho loft owned by art consultant and former Chelsea gallerist Sara Tecchia is back on the market for $11.6 million — a 50% price slash from its original $23.25 million in 2015.

Tecchia bought the three-bedroom, 3½-bath home at 50 Wooster St. for $7.45 million in 2010. “In my Chelsea gallery, Sara Tecchia Roma New York, I was constantly surrounded by paintings and sculptures. Thus, I was curious to create a living environment in which the space itself becomes the art,” she once told Mansion Global

The 4,848-square-foot, full-floor, fifth-story space comes with keyed elevator access.

The home opens to a foyer anchored by a custom curved, backlit bookshelf that leads to an open living/dining great room with arched windows. French doors and a brick archway lead to a 528-square-foot private terrace off the main living area.

The six-story cast-iron building, which dates to the late 19th century, is part of a two-building condo complex known as the Wooster Street Condo, at 42-50 Wooster St.
