Domino’s introduces free Emergency Pizza for when fans ‘need it most’

Domino’s knows that pizza makes even the worst situation better.

The largest pizza company in the world is now introducing “Domino’s Emergency Pizza” — a new program that offers customers a free pizza “whenever they need it most.”

“Perhaps you burned dinner, the power went out or maybe your in-laws just dropped in without notice – whatever your emergency situation, Domino’s believes a free pizza can make anything better,” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president and chief brand officer, said in a press release.

“Why did we launch Domino’s Emergency Pizza? With so much uncertainty in everyday life, we believe everyone needs a pizza pick-me-up at some point! The hardest part may just be deciding when to use your Emergency Pizza!”

Pizza lovers can get a free pizza in case of emergency from now until Feb. 11, 2024, through their Domino’s Rewards account.

“Open in case of emergency” doesn’t usually refer to pizza boxes — but Domino’s is about to change that.

Pizza lovers can score a free pizza from the chain “whenever they need it most,” according to a statement regarding Domino's new Emergency Pizza program. Now through Feb. 11, customers can order a medium two-topping pizza for free, as long as they are reward members.

Wondering how you can cash in on this deal?

Customers can get their break-the-glass medium pizza with two toppings by placing a delivery order online or a digital carryout order costing at least $7.99, and they will automatically earn a Domino’s Emergency Pizza after the order is processed.

To claim the Emergency Pizza, customers have to log in or join Domino’s Rewards within seven days. Then go to the “My Deals & Rewards” page to redeem their Emergency Pizza within 30 days. Only one free pizza can be claimed per account.

Domino’s announced over the summer that customers can start ordering their pizzas on Uber Eats and Postmates. Uber Eats will be the chain’s exclusive third-party platform in the US until at least 2024, due to its “global agreement” with Uber.
