Cowboys vs. Chargers pick
After getting destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers last week, the Dallas Cowboys are back in California to take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
BetMGM Sportsbook is favoring the Cowboys by 1.5 points on the road, and that line makes sense, especially considering that the Chargers have no home field advantage. That said, I’m leaning with the Chargers.
Los Angeles should be well-rested after its bye week after winning its previous two games. Quarterback Justin Herbert accounted for three touchdowns in each win, and on the season he is completing 71% of his passes for seven touchdowns and 1,106 yards, along with three rushing scores. His top target, Keenan Allen, is also having a great year, and on the defensive side, Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa have combined for nine sacks already.
Dallas has shown to be a good team so far, but its three wins are over Daniel Jones, Zach Wilson, and Mac Jones. Not exactly the toughest competition, and when they faced a much better offense last week against the 49ers, the Cowboys crumbled. Dak Prescott has also left a lot to be desired with 1,061 yards, five touchdown passes, and four picks.
