Eagles vs. Jets odds, prediction: Can Gang Green’s ATS trend continue?

The Jets return to MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Gang Green is coming off their first road win of the season and will certainly be tested against the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles.

New York snapped a three-game losing streak in last week’s 31-21 triumph at Denver as 2.5-point road underdogs.

The Jets picked up their second straight cover as running back Breece Hall rushed for 177 yards, including a 72-yard touchdown scamper.

Eagles vs. Jets odds

Odds provided by FanDuel

  • Spread: Eagles -6.5 (-104) vs. Jets +6.5 (-118)
  • Moneyline: Eagles -280 vs. Jets +230
  • Total: Over 41 (-115) | Under 41 (-105)

The last home game for the Jets came against the team the Eagles lost to in the Super Bowl last season.

Kansas City jumped out to a 17-0 lead before New York rallied back to tie things up at 20-20. Although the Chiefs won, 23-20, the Jets took the money as 8.5-point home underdogs.

Eagles vs. Jets prediction

(Sunday, Oct. 15 | 4:25 p.m. ET, FOX)

The Eagles are one of two undefeated teams left in the NFL — the 49ers are the other — as they head back east after a 23-14 road victory at Los Angeles over the Rams in Week 5.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts posted his second consecutive game of more than 300 passing yards and the Eagles have covered the spread in all three road wins.

The Jets enter Sunday’s matchup as a 6.5-point home underdog, which is actually a good spot for them.

Since the start of last season, the Eagles own a 3-5 against the spread record as a road favorite of five points or more.

Meanwhile, the Jets are riding a 4-2 ATS stretch in their last six opportunities as a home ‘dog. I’m confident that trend will continue on Sunday.

Let’s back the Jets here to hang around against the defending NFC champions at home.

The pick: Jets +6.5 (-118, FanDuel)
