These are the three zodiac signs with the strongest sex drive

Climb in the passenger side, and let’s talk sex drive my babies.

The word libido, made popular by spectacled, orally-fixated Taurus kink daddy Sigmund Freud, derives from the Latin lubido meaning “eagerness, longing; inordinate desire, sensual passion, lust.”

Coincidentally and etymologically, love and libido share the same ancient root.

According to Psychology Today, “Sex drive refers to a hypothetical construct encompassing one’s attitudes toward sex, sexual desires, and sexual behaviors.” The same article argues that men typically have a stronger and more consistent sex drive than women though there is dip for dudes after age 35 when testosterone levels begin decreasing.

Sex drive can be affected by emotional welfare, pregnancy, menstruation, trauma, menopause, illness and medications.

Carnality varies from person to person and zodiac sign to zodiac sign but there are some common ways to combat a lack of lust. Eating salmon and chocolate is an easy fix and professionals suggest regular ice baths can function as a kind of aphrodisiac causing “increased blood flow to sexual organs, resulting in heightened sexual arousal in the hours after.”

Brrr and also hot.

Further evidence found that pricking in the form of acupuncture needles rather than actual pricks can help amp up flatlined libidos in women. Mindfulness meditations have also proven successful in reinvigorating sexual desire. Same goes for the decidedly dicey-sounding clitoral shock therapy.

For both sexes, a big (and free!) old inhale of a potential partner’s body odor can do the trick.

Because our sex drive is directly related to Mars, the action-oriented planet that governs it, read for your sun, rising and Mars sign.

In lust we trust.

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

Aries is ruled by Mars, the jock planet of sex drive and high fives. As a result, their temperatures run hot and their passions ride high. They love the thrill of the chase and the build-up to release. This is big-time action hero energy, they’re into exploding cars, high speeds, acceleration of all sorts and expression of all things.

Sex for an Aries is more about quantity than quality, it’s a scratch they have to itch and they favor the express and the expressly athletic — no lazy dog getting it on here folks — it’s high-octane orgasms, flame decals, anytime anywhere, unafraid to ask for it or talk about it.

The Aries sex drive ethos was made sing-along song by ram native Lil Nas X in his banger about banging it out, ladies and gentlemen, “Monetero.”

Nas X instructs a lover, “Call me when you want, call me when you need/ Call me in the morning, I’ll be on the way/Call me when you want, call me when you need/ Call me out by your name, I’ll be on the way.”

The sentiment is echoed by Angelina Jolie, who has a stellium in Aries including her moon and Mars. In an interview with Elle Magazine, Jolie expressed that her sex drive is high and her type all-inclusive, “Honestly, I like everything. Boyish girls, girlish boys, the heavy and the skinny. Which is a problem when I’m walking down the street.”

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Scorpio is ruled by Mars and Pluto, planet of sex, death and transformation.

Scorpio is ruled by both Mars, planet of action and Pluto, planet of sex, death and transformation. Accordingly, sex is a sacrament for Scorpios, an extension of spirit and a kind of death by merging. They are not interested in the perfunctory or the shallow. Their sex drive is not sated by frequency of f—ing but intensity. Let two become one and nothing remains the same.

In lust we trust.

Compared to Aries, Scorpio is less up front and out loud about their sexuality and more into secret liaisons, subversive pleasure, undercover love and the kind of vibe that leaves people speculating and masturbating.

Case in point, Mars in Scorpio native Kyle Richards who once had sex undetected with husband Mauricio Umansky at a table for ten during a black tie event and who continues to court conjecture with her “are they or aren’t they” friendship with Morgan Wade.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

The planet Mars is exalted in Capricorn meaning it is able to fully and fiercely express itself. In addition to being cardinal, IE initiatory, Capricorn is an earth sign meaning natives are naturally prone to self-soothe through the body. Mars in Capricorn native Jenna Dewan spoke to this fact when she described her own libido to Cosmopolitan Magazine, “I’ve always been a very sexual person…Something about being a dancer connects you to your physical body. It’s primal, earthy, sexual energy by nature.”

Strategic AF, Capricorns are risk averse and do nothing without the guarantee of some kind of return. Consequently, when it comes to sex, pleasure is the ultimate payoff and you can guarantee they will always get theirs. Further examples can be found in sex-positive homebody and Mars in Capricorn poster child, Megan Fox who famously claimed, “I have the libido of a 15-year-old boy. My sex drive is so high. I’d rather have sex…all the time than leave the house.” Spoken like a true Taurus with a big cap libido. Bless.
