Best TikTok workout for your zodiac sign — from cozy cardio to hot girl walks

Let’s tok about fitness.

Not just for talking dogs, cleaning hacks, and professional confessions, the popular and habit-forming social media platform TikTok also plays host to FitTok, the fitness-themed sphere where users suggest, create and critique workouts, nutrition plans, wellness advice, fitness equipment and even general gym aesthetics.

One user kindly established a guide to what your workout clothes say about you — including the illuminating knowledge that Gymshark folk don’t make eye contact, Fabletics fans are outliers and strivers, and Lululemon is for rich people who don’t actually want to sweat.

Running the gamut from the classic to the controversial, FitTok workouts have inspired legions to saddle up the spandex and get to getting physical.

A benefit of FitTok is that average and avid exercisers have access to the content of renowned trainers — the underbelly of course is that anyone with a phone can call themselves an expert and extoll the virtues of myriad methods that may be ineffective at best — and downright dangerous at worst.

Squat it down and pop it up, this is the TikTok fitness trend to try based on your zodiac sign.

Whether your aim is to lose weight, build strength, feel power, burn rage or live longer, there’s a workout for you — and as with most life choices, astrology is here to help.

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

As cardinal fire, Aries folk often operate from a place of instinct and impulse. In-kind, the Tarzan Movement aims to take fitness back to the days before we became bipedal.

Following the methods of French founder Victor Fleites, Tarzan devotees move on all fours and climb trees, make primal sounds, and generally embrace their unabashed animal selves.

One practitioner explained that the primitive techniques helped her move through trauma. “I hike barefoot [and] crawl on narrow surfaces. [It’s all about] meeting my fear and being with it, rather than bypassing it or submitting to it,” she explained. Facing fear and getting ripped through devolution? Can dig.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

#CozyCardio

#CozyCardio has achieved over 1 million views on TikTok as women hit their walking equipment in a comfy set of pajamas and fuzzy socks.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, planet of low lighting, soft fabrics, and controlling a vibe. In-kind, cozy cardio prioritizes mood setting and sweat burning in equal measure.

As The Post reports, it’s a low-impact, anti-HIIT workout that offers participants the opportunity to step at their own pace, burn calories, and revel in some “me” time from the comfort of their living rooms. Scented candles, fuzzy socks and not leaving the house? Pure bull bait.

Grumpy Girl Stomp

Cancer is ruled by the moon, and its many moods reflect the waxing and waning of that great, catered mirror in the sky. The water sign clap back to the #HotGirlWalks is the #GrumpyGirlStomp, essentially dressing under a hat and glasses like an early-aughts Olsen twin and moving your body through the gloom it is harboring.

Fresh air in the lungs and miles under the feet are proven to release endorphins, alleviate stress, improve mood, and reverse other symptoms of grump, making this trend a tried-and-true remedy for the emo weather of this cardinal water sign.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

#HotGirlWalks

Everything needed for a Hot Girl Walk.

For Leo, all the world is a stage, and lion folk will get on board and in step with the #HotGirlWalkthe viral TikTok obsession wherein women take hours-long walks that also double as photo ops.

Matching sports bra and legging sets, ankle weights, and headphones are recommended, but not required. The key to maximizing this trend, according to Mia Lind, the influencer who coined the term, is to repeat positive affirmations and visualize your hotness with every footfall, a pseudo-spiritual practice Leos live by.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

Shy girl workout

In the Major Arcana of the tarot, Virgo is represented by the Hermit card, apropos of this, many natives prefer the confines of their respective caves and the company of exactly no one.

Not expressly shy, more just blatantly discerning about who they engage with, Virgos will vibe with the shy girl workout trend. Comprised of exercises that can be done at home or in a remote corner of the gym with minimal equipment and space, these are routines designed to discourage dialogue or unwanted attention — allowing Virgos to get fit while steering clear.

In honor of former dancer, absolute icon and Libra regent Cardi B, members of her zodiac home team can try out a “WAP”-inspired workout from fitness influencer Janelle Ginestra.

Including a seated fan kick and a twerk pushup, Ginestra explains that the routine feels more like dance than cardio, a welcome change for Libras who are into looking good with minimal exertion.

“Instead of feeling like you’re doing a bunch of random workout moves, you feel like you’ve put on a whole dance performance to your favorite songs. I’m going to have you popping that ass!” Ginestra said.

Give it everything you got, fam.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Ballet

Potentially born from the balletcore fashion trend, this year has seen a spike in workouts inspired by the most graceful and grueling of all dance forms.

Scorpio is a threshold sign representing the barrier between life and death, mind and body. In-kind, ballet is a test of mental agility and physical strength. Add to the mix that Scorpio is a sign noted for absolute intensity and a dangerously competitive edge, the very sea ballet was baptized in. Bonus: the flexibility built through ballet easily lends itself to sexual contortions.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

‘Flowers’ workout

@bustle

Buy yourself flowers, write your name in the sand, and commit to a new workout routine 💪 @justbri_always #mileycyrus #mileycyrusflowers #workout

This FitTok trend was inspired by the routine featured in the music video for apex Sagittarius Miley Cyrus’s breakup banger “Flowers.”

Including such fire-sign-friendly moves as battle ropes, Spiderman push-ups, glute bridges, banded lunge-to-knee drives and burpees, the “Flowers” workout is essentially a heart-pumping love letter to living free and looking good.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

The 75 Hard Challenge

Fitness TikTok has fallen hard for the 75 Hard challenge.

Ruled by punishing, no pain, no gain, education through initiation planet Saturn, Capricorns never shy away from a physical challenge or a chance to prove their own excellence.

The 75 Hard delivers a training program that demands participants complete two 45-minute workouts every day (one of which must be done outdoors), follow a specific diet, drink 1 gallon of water, read 10 pages of a book daily, abstain from alcohol and cheat meals, and take photos to track their progress.

Andy Frisella, a supplement seller and YouTuber who established the 75 Hard, stresses that it is not a fitness trend, but a “transformative mental toughness program” that “can change your life” and give you “complete control.”

Toughness? Control? Hard-won gains and a feeling of superiority over your former self? Big-time green lights for sea goats.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

Weighted hula hoop

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

The #OneHandTwoHandChallenge

In terms of the physical body, Pisces rules the hand and feet — the #OneHandTwoHandChallenge celebrates and shouts out both.

Set to the tune of the uncontested banger “Hit Yo Rollie,” this challenge is core-fortifying, dance-adjacent and pairs beautifully as a solo act, or optimized for the doomed romantic inside each and every Pisces, a choreographed couple’s move.
